Most of you know Tim Williams from his many, many years of serving the people of Alabama with his business, Bad Bugs Pest Control. He is highly recognized among his clients and friends, and is someone who can brighten anyone’s day.
He started Bad Bugs Pest Control back in 2006, and has since treated thousands of homes and businesses throughout the state of Alabama. Unfortunately over the past few years, Tim has had to deal with some challenging health issues.
In 2022 Tim was hospitalized and diagnosed with Stage Four Kidney Failure. Since then he has undergone many treatments including at home dialysis 7 days a week, and in center dialysis 3 days a week. Managing a business is tough on its own, but managing kidney failure AND a business at the same time is even more of a challenge! That is why Tim has decided to partner up with Magic City Pest Control, another small, local company, to treat his customers moving forward. As someone who has been in the pest control industry for decades, he understands the value that small business professionals can provide (as opposed to the “big guys”).
As of August 23rd, 2024, Tim has officially retired from providing general pest control services, and all of his clients will be in the care of Magic City Pest Control. Tim will continue to work alongside his sons to perform Bed Bug Treatments for customers in the area.
Tim’s ultimate goal is to get a kidney transplant, but this is extremely difficult to do as it will require him to meet certain criteria, then get on a wait list, and then patiently wait for a match. We hope and pray that Tim will receive his wish, and continue to thrive as a father, grandfather, and member of our wonderful community!
